The Parables of Jesus

A parable is a short story used to illustrate a point or points.  Also, the parables of Jesus are prophetic.  They tell of past, current, and future events all the way to the last book of the Bible, The Revelation.  Jesus describes these as secrets of the kingdom.  Before each parable Jesus taught are certain events that take place which tell us why He gave the parable.  Therefore, we will look at those event(s) to give us a clearer understanding of each. While this series will not cover all the parables, we will study the ones that have a greater impact at this time.  Pay close attention as we allow the Scriptures to reveal to us certain secrets of God’s kingdom.
